The problem is not the pillow. It is that your head falls.

A normal travel pillow is a ring of foam. It fills the gap around your neck, but it holds nothing. The moment you actually fall asleep your head tips sideways, you wake up, you straighten it, and you do that for four hours. You land having slept in ten-minute pieces.

NeckNest works the other way round. There is a rigid internal support inside the fleece that takes the weight of your head and keeps it where you set it. It does not compress and it does not slowly give way over the flight.

What it does

• Holds instead of cushions — The internal frame carries the weight. Foam collapses under it; this does not.
• Three support positions — Left, right, or forward. Set it for the way you actually sleep.
• You set the tightness — Adjustable strap, so it is firm without squeezing.
• 133 g — About half the bulk of a normal travel pillow. It clips to a bag instead of filling it.
• Washable — Take the support out, machine wash the hypoallergenic fleece at 30°C.

How to wear it

1. Decide which side your head falls to when you sleep sitting up.
2. Put the support on that side of your neck, under the jaw.
3. Wrap the fleece around and fasten it firm — snug, not tight. If it presses on your throat, it is too far forward.

Who it is for — and who it is not

It helps if you take long flights or bus journeys, you sleep sitting up badly, or you land with a stiff neck.

It will not help if you want something soft to lean into — this is a support, not a cushion, and it feels firm at first. It is also not a treatment for a neck injury. If a doctor is already treating your neck, ask them first.

Does it work on a bus or in a car?
Yes — anywhere you sleep sitting upright. It is not for lying down.

Is it hot to wear?
The fleece is warm by design. On a hot bus some people loosen it or wear it over a collar.

Will it fit me?
One size with an adjustable strap. It fits most adult necks, and children from about twelve.

Do I pay before it arrives?
No. Pay the courier in cash when it reaches your door. Card at checkout is available if you prefer.

What if I don't like it?
